Thank you for your interest in the Jasper County Schools. We are always looking for dedicated employees to serve OUR children. We use an online, user-friendly application system to apply for employment for any position, whether a posted vacancy or not. To be considered, you must submit an online application. There are three options to choose.
1. Apply for positions currently vacant. See the vacancy list for these positions.
2. Apply for positions not currently vacant. Applications are held for one year and considered if a position becomes vacant.

3. Apply for a substitute teacher position. You must possess a valid teaching certificate or the SubDiploma™ from our required training course with a minimum passing score of 85%.
How to Become a Substitute Teacher
Please do not mail or deliver applications or supporting documents to a school or the Personnel Office unless requested. Please do not contact a school or administrator directly by phone or email. All qualified applicants will be considered, but not all will be selected for the next step in the hiring process. Successful candidates for any position must consent to a criminal history background check by fingerprinting and are required to pay the $45 fee, and be checked through e-Verify.
Applicants who are not selected will receive notification. Due to the volume of applications received, we are unable to respond to inquiries regarding your application status or available positions by phone or e-mail. All vacant positions are posted on this webpage.
