The Jasper County Charter System would like to offer all students, including those in virtual learning, as well as any child aged 0-18 in our County, meals at no cost. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is allowing School Nutrition Programs to offer meals at no cost to children across our Nation until the end of December 2020 OR until USDA runs out of money allocated for this purpose, whichever comes first. Any money you have paid for lunch since September 1, 2020 will be credited to your child’s account, so they will be set when we return to normal paid/free/reduced statuses in January.
All children attending in-person classes will receive meals at no cost immediately, beginning October 7, 2020. Meals will be available to children in our community on buses from 11:00AM - 12:15PM located at:
Shiloh Baptist Church at Hwy 142, Recreation Parking Lot
Jackson Lake Fire Station
Funderburg Park Pavillion
North Alcovy Fire Station off of County Line Road
Dates for bus pick up in October 2020:
7th, 14th, 19th, 21st, 26th, and 28th
