Our Early Intervention Specialists earn $47/$53 per home visit + mileage

 We're Looking for Great....

  • Teachers of the visually impaired
  • Orientation & Mobility Specialists
  • Special Education Teachers (especially preschool)
  • Teachers of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
  • Teachers from related fields with experience with children with hearing or vision loss)  

 

Eight Day Virtual Training 
Delivered in real-time Zoom
June 5,6,8,9 and June 12,13,15,16
(No sessions on Wednesdays)
8:00 am to 3:00 pm each day
Trainees must attend all 8 days of training.

Positive Behavior Support Parent Academy

Georgia State University is hosting a Positive Behavior Support Parent Academy virtual training series for parents of children ages 3-5 years old with challenging behaviors.

Training Information

Dates:  February 2, 9, 16, 23, and March 2

Time:  9:00 am - 11:00 am

Cost:  FREE!

Training is funded through a partnership with the Georgia Department of Public Health

The group is for parent/caregivers only. Children cannot attend. This is a 5-week course, please plan to attend all five sessions. This is a virtual via zoom training.

This Free Parent Academy will include:

Skill-building content, hands-on activities, discussion. and peer-to-peer support on the following topics:

  • Understanding your child's behavior
  • Preventing challenging behaviors during daily routines
  • Teaching your child new life and communication skills
  • Creating and using visual supports
