Mr. John Graybill
My name is John Graybill. This is my 17th year teaching and my 11th year teaching High Schoolers.
I was born in Shelbyville, KY and raised in Georgia. My wife of 30 years is a Director of Nursing for Serenity Hospice in Milledgeville, GA. and we have lived in Jasper County for the past 24 years. We have two sons, Matthew and Glendon, both of whom are attending college. Matthew is a Graduate student working towards a Master of Arts in Teaching degree. Glendon is a sophomore and is majoring in Electrical Engineering.
I graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Wildlife Biology from the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point in 1983. I worked for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division for almost 18 years before making the jump to education. I received my Master of Arts in Teaching degree from GCSU in 2006. My education career began by teaching at Jasper County Middle School from 2003 - 2007. I then went to teach middle and highschoolers at Georgia College Early college from 2007 -2011 and have been at Jasper COunty High School since 2011-12 school year. In my career I have taught Physical Science, Honors Physical Science, Environmental Science, AP Environmental Science, Forensic Science, U.S. History, American Government, and Economics.
Currently I teach 5 sections of Economics/American Government and one section of Environmental Science.
