Your child must be 5 years old by September 1st to be registered for Kindergarten for the2026-2027 school year.
Make An Appointment
Kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year will be held on May 4th-8th at the Board of Education. Appointments are required. Please use the calendar below to schedule an appointment.
If your child currently attends Jasper County Pre-K 4, you do not need to register them for Kindergarten at JCPS.
Before Your Appointment
Once you have scheduled your appointment with our registrar, please complete the intake form. Upon completion, Upon completion, you will receive an email at the email address you provided on the intake form. Please follow the link in the email to complete the online portion of the registration process. You will need to have this completed before your scheduled time with the registrar.
Documents Required for Registration:
Parent/Guardian ID: Personal identification of the parent/guardian (valid driver's license, picture identification card, passport, etc.) bearing your name.
Proof of Residency: Please bring a current utility bill and a current lease/rental agreement verifying your 911 address. A P.O. Box is not a proof of residency.
Child's ID: a birth certificate or a federal/state/county document showing the child's date of birth.
Immunization Record: A current immunization record (Georgia immunization Form 3231) or medical/religious exemption form.
Eye, Ear, Dental Examination Record: record form 3300
Social Security Card: Parents/Guardians may sign a waiver in lieu of providing a social security card.
Legal Documentation (If Applicable): Documentation showing legal guardianship or custody order.
*In addition to the items listed above, previous school records will need to be supplied in order to register your child.
