JCMS COVID Announcement

Jasper County Middle School will move to virtual learning effective Tuesday, November 17.  All middle school extracurricular activities including athletics are suspended until further notice.  This is due to the increased number of reported COVID-19 cases, both students and staff, impacting the school.  With contact tracing, this has affected a large number of students and staff potentially being exposed to the virus.  Currently, there are four active cases of COVID-19 within JCMS.

During the next several days, sanitization of JCMS will be conducted by custodial staff as it is our goal to reopen for in-person instruction on November 30th (after Thanksgiving Break).

All other schools will remain on a regular schedule at this time.  The administrative team of Jasper County Charter System will continue to monitor the situation across the schools and will update the status of operations accordingly.

Thank you,
Charles K. Garland, Ed.S.
Superintendent
